Workhouse Military in the Arts Initiative Veterans Open Studio

Workhouse Arts Initiative Veterans Open Studio

For the month of November, WMAI and Veterans Open Studio will be creating around the theme of family. As we prepare to celebrate Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving, take time to pause and reflect on what family means to you. Join WMAI’s art therapist and artist-in-resident in the Warrior Way studio.

Please note, Saturday November 28th , VOS will be closed.

WMAI provides free, weekly Open Studio opportunities that are exclusive to the military community for veterans to explore their creativity through structured and open-ended art experiences such as painting, sculpture, and drawing.

Open Studio sessions are intended to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in a safe, communal atmosphere of cultural exchange, conversation, and freedom of expression.

Open Studio occurs every Saturday from 12-3 PM in Warrior Way Art Studio in Building W-16.

The second Saturday in each month is Family Open Studio Day, where veterans bring family members for a day of military family creativity.

No previous art experience is necessary.
