    Semper Fit Health Fair and Football Combine and the Marine Corps Marathon National Walk/Run at Work Day will be held on Thursday, September 14, at Butler Stadium at MCB Quantico. The rain location will be inside the Barber Physical Activity Center.

    September 19-21. This is an online, virtual event that will connect health care professionals, researchers and academicians involved in all aspects of psychological health and traumatic brain injury. Free to attend. CE credits available. Registration required.

  • Prince George’s Community College Veteran Resource Fair September 14th

    Come out for a day to learn about military and veteran related organizations and resources within the community. This event is open to all active duty,veterans, spouses, dependents, and/or caregivers.

  • U.S. VETS Washington D.C. Stand-Down – Sept 13

    U.S. VETS in Washington, D.C. will be holding a Stand-Down event on September 13 from 12 – 4 pm at 152 Wayne Place SE Washington, D.C. 20032.

  • Invincible Spirit Festival – Aug 31

    Invincible Spirit Festival will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 5:00pm on Pullen Field, Fort Belvoir. Food will be provided along with games and a performance from Lt. Dan Band!

  • VEI VETWORKING – Sept 26 & Oct 4

    Northern Virginia Technology Council announces their next award winning and highly praised VEI VETWORKING cohort on 26 September and 4 October 2017 (two parts) held in McLean, VA. This is a no-cost signature education and mentoring program supporting employment in the civilian workforce for transitioning military members, Veterans and spouses.

  • Weekend Warriors – Wellness Workshop – Sept 17

    Project Horse Empowerment Center will be hosting a Weekend Warriors Walk-In Wellness Workshop on Saturday, September 17 from 10 am – 12 pm in Purcellville. This wellness workshop is for active duty and retired military and is all about reconnecting with your significant other in a relaxing environment. Workshop fee is $45 per person.

  • Project Opportunity Small Business Program beginning in September

    Project Opportunity offers an intensive 10-week small business program for Veterans that meets one night a week and is facilitated by business professionals and subject matter experts. They will be holding an upcoming 10 week session beginning September 25 in Leonardtown, MD. To learn more, check out their orientation on September 7 at 6:30 pm.
