USO's Pathfinder program presents Taste of OXYGEN, a workshop packed with information, interaction, and an open question and answer session, the 60-90 minute event creates a fun learning environment. The Transition Workshops help move couples or individuals into a deeper investment in their relationship during their transition from the military. Thursday, December 14 from 5 - 8 pm at the USO on Fort Belvoir.
Veteran Employment Transition Summit (VETS) will be held on December 6 & 7th at Fort Belvoir Community Center beginning at 8:30 am each day. December 6th will feature American Dream U Entrepreneur Summit from 9 am - 1:30 pm followed by Hiring Our Heroes and a Career Networking Social. Project Horse Empowerment Center in Purcellville, VA will be hosting a Warrior Herd Family Workshop on Saturday, November 18. Warrior Herd™ is comprised of 12 monthly wellness groups to support and enhance the interpersonal relationships between veterans and members of their families. The Dog Tag Inc. Fellowship works in partnership with Georgetown University to deliver a professional development program designed to prepare military veterans with service connected disabilities, spouses and caregivers to find success as they transition into the civilian workforce.
