VETS TALK: Cancer a Veterans Perspective

Addiction Treatment in Military & Veteran Culture Specialty Webinar Series

The Association for Addiction Professionals launches a 6 part specialty webinar training series focused on addiction treatment in Military & Veteran Culture. The first webinar, Supporting Those Who Served: Substance Use and Comprehensive Mental Health for Military Affiliated Populations takes place on Saturday, 8/24. Participants may attend one or multiple webinars in this series. Those who successfully attend the full webinar series and pass all six CE quizzes for this six-part series will be eligible to apply for the Certificate of Achievement for Addiction Treatment in Military & Veteran Culture. Free Arts Workshop for Active Adults

ATTENTION ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 65! Are you looking for fun opportunities to socialize in your community? The Hylton Performing Arts Center is part of a collaboration that has received a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant that is supporting a series of free 10-week arts engagement workshops on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from September 3 to November 7, 2019. Participants who complete the workshop series will receive vouchers for free Hylton Center tickets to select performances.
