The panel will explore how veterans have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, toxic exposures, military sexual trauma, access to health care, and more.

Navigating VA Home Loans

Guaranteed Rate and the USO have joined forces to support service members and their families in navigating the home buying process! Buying a house or understanding your VA Home Buying Loan benefits can be challenging, so they've brought in the experts to assist. This workshop is open to Active Duty, military spouses, National Guard, Reservists, and recently separated veterans. Those that attend will learn about their VA Home Loan eligibility requirements and understand the lifespan of the VA Home Loan. The workshop will include a step-by-step process of buying a home, from finding the right house, to financing, closing and more!

Research Study on Caregivers

This research examines the burden and reactions of women taking care of husbands who are veterans with an alcohol use disorder. It's a 30-minute survey that can be completed at home. You are eligible to participate if: you are a woman, married to man who is a veteran managing an alcohol use disorder, and you are their caregiver.  If you do not meet all the conditions, you are not eligible to participate.
