American Forces Travel: New website offering military travel discounts
Effective Tuesday, 22 January 2019; the Department of Defense has partnered with Priceline and created a website to exclusively serve all DoD employees, retirees, and eligible family members with all of their travel needs at deeply discounted prices.
Capital One Virginia Military Dependent Scholarship
The Capital One Military Dependent Scholarship is designed to aid and honor a talented high school senior that is the dependent of an active duty Servicemember, or Servicemember in the Reserves or National Guard (residing or resident of Virginia). $5,000 for college tuition will be awarded to a student for their academic excellence, values, actions and leadership within their community. Application deadline: April 30, 2019.
