Project Opportunity is a free entrepreneurship training program designed solely for veterans (Active Duty, Guard/Reserve Personnel, and Veterans) who want to start their own business or expand their current small business. Program graduates are in various stages of their business ventures, ranging from finalizing their business plan to actual launch and earning income. PO is currently accepting applications for 3 upcoming Project Opportunity classes that will take place this fall at various locations.

Sailing Clinics
Since 2015, Valhalla Sailing Project has focused on connecting wounded, disabled, and transitioning Veterans with one another and the larger sailing community through the sport of sailing to promote veteran well-being and address the issues surrounding veteran suicide. VSP offers "Learn to Sail" clinics during the summer to teach the basics of sailing. Clinics are open to all Veterans.
The Camouflage Closet Documentary Film Screening & Panel Discussion
Join Maryland's Committment to Veterans on Tuesday, June 22nd for a film screening of The Camouflage Closet. This event includes the screening of the documentary, panel discussion, and sharing of culturally responsive mental health resources including suicide prevention and LGBT Veteran Care in the community and Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
