Virtual Pups4Patriots® 5K

For some veterans, coming home as a civilian is only the beginning of another daunting battle. American Humane's Pups4Patriots® program is committed to providing support to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, while also giving dogs in need of a forever home a second chance at life. Register to walk or run in our inaugural Pups4Patriots® 5K and help raise funds to train service dogs, free of cost, for veterans diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury.

Community 5 Year Celebration

Willing Warriors will celebrate the five-year anniversary of the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run on AUGUST 22TH, 2020.  This event is open to the public and will include a Corvette Show, live music, 50/50 raffle, games, contests, vendors, tours of the guest lodging houses, food and beer! Willing Warriors provides cost-free retreat stays and programs that positively impact the recovery process of our nation’s wounded, injured, and ill service members and disabled Veterans.  The Retreat experience offers the Warriors and their families a much-needed break from prolonged hospital care to relax, enjoy quality time, and reconnect in an intimate, home-like setting.

While we are all facing these unexpected adjustments to our daily lives, one constant remains — the love and support of your TAPS family. That is why we’re bringing our seminar right to you. We have a variety of dynamic sessions available online throughout the weekend at no cost, with all of the resources, care and love we can offer, coming to you in the comfort of your home.  Their session presenters are leading experts in the field of grief and loss, and you will have the opportunity to gain tools and resources for your grief journey. They will have an exciting program of virtual workshops, care groups, and family programming.
