HillVets Lead Program Accepting Applications
HillVets LEAD. the premier public policy and leadership program for veterans in the United States is looking for dedicated individuals looking to spend up to 3 hours a week for 12 weeks improving their skills alongside some of our Nation’s most sought after leaders. Individuals will join a lifelong “fireteam” of 6 who will push each other to success. The program is accepting applications for participation now thru August 30, 2019.

AARP, Elizabeth Dole Foundation, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation - Hiring Our Heroes invite you to a special event to learn more about how business leaders can combat the employment challenges military caregivers face in their own workplaces. Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP)
There will be an informational event about the Senior Community Services Employment Program on Thursday, August 29th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center. Women Veterans Career and Transitioning Seminar & Networking Reception
Whether you plan to transition from military service in 20 years or 2 days, the Women’s Veterans Career and Transitioning Seminar will help you plan your transition. The Seminar will present guest speakers who will share their transition stories and provide additional insight regarding their transition experience highs and lows. The Seminar will also host a panel of pro-military civilian employers that will engage in a question and answer session designed to discuss relevant issues in today’s talent acquisition industry.
