Booz Allen Hamilton Networking Dinner will be held on Monday, October 16 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the USO on Fort Belvoir. Meet Booz Allen Hamilton representatives and learn about career opportunities. Listen as a Veteran currently working with Booz Allen Hamilton shares their insight and experience of the application and hiring process. Participants must have transitioned out of active duty service within the past 12 months, or are transitioning out of active duty service within the next 12 months. Space is limited and participants will be selected by lottery from registration list.

The Journey Conference – Oct 27
The Journey Conference is an annual conference hosted by Brain Injury Services for survivors, family members, and professionals in the brain injury community. At the conference, you'll attend sessions where local experts in the field of rehabilitation discuss practical strategies survivors can use in real life. Attending Journey is a great way for you to connect with other survivors and be educated on community resources available to you and your family as you work to find your “new normal.” Journey is the only conference in Northern Virginia that is designed and dedicated to survivors of brain injuries and their families. Kathleen Mullaney D.D.S. participates each year with Freedom Day USA and provides free services for Veteran’s on Thursday, October 12th from 8am – 5pm. Free Writing Workshop for Veterans at Montgomery County Public Libraries
Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) is offering a free six-session workshop open for veterans, service members, and their adult family members. The six-session workshop will take place at the Rockville Memorial library, 21 Maryland Ave., Rockville, on Saturdays, September 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28 & November 4 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
