The USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore invites active duty servicemembers and dependents to come out to our Supermarket Sweeps! DATE: July 12th TIME: 10AM until the food runs out! LOCATION: USO-Metro Warehouse (9455 Jackson Loop, Ft. Belvoir, VA 22060). Come out to the warehouse with your empty grocery bags and we will fill them with fresh produce and other treats!
Caregiver Horse Powered Rejuvenation – August 5
Blue Star Families hosts a Caregivers Empowering Caregivers event: Horse Powered Rejuvenation. Join fellow caregivers and their families for a one-of-a-kind experience in equine therapy and activities for the whole family. Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Loudoun Therapeutic Riding at Morven Park (41580 Sunday Morning Lane, Leesburg, VA 20176). Lunch and transportation will be provided. Longitudinal Caregivers Study Seeks Participants
Do you care for a service member or veteran who had a TBI after October 2001 while serving in the military? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study requested by Congress. The study is currently recruiting family members, friends, or significant others who help a service member or veteran who had a traumatic brain injury after October 2001 while serving in the military.

George C Marshall High School – Field of Honor – May 26-29
On May 26-29th, George C. Marshall High School's Class of 2019 will celebrate the Memorial Day holiday by creating a Field of Honor in front of the high school along Route 7. We invite you to support the Field of Honor and the class of 2019 by sponsoring a flag (s) to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military or to recognize the service of a veteran or an active duty service member. For each flag sold, GCM will make a donation to ServingTogether and can send an e-card to the family or the honoree to let them know they have been honored with a photo of the Field of Honor.
