The Central Maryland Veterans Collaborative will launch on Tuesday, May 11th, and will then take place quarterly. The format will be an informal and inclusive meeting with representation from across the region – nonprofits, service providers, veterans’ service organizations, and local government – to ensure that services are not being duplicated, and military and veteran families receive the best possible information and access to care and benefits.

Informal meetings with community partners are called Collaboratives. ServingTogether hosts collaborative meetings in a variety of locations throughout the National Capital Region. Resources, events, and information are shared to broaden the knowledge and understanding of available support. All are welcome to participate.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Community of Practice presents the eighth Regional Community of Practice training event for our AmericaServes network users and providers from Rhode Island, New York City, Greater Pittsburgh, the National Capital and Central Maryland Regions, and larger South Hampton Roads communities.

The meeting is open to any community organization working on behalf of Loudoun County veterans and all Loudoun County individual residents who have an interest in the welfare of Loudoun County veterans, active duty members and their family members.
