  • Building Networks of Support for Service Members, Veterans, and their Families

    The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) SMVF Technical Assistance (TA) Center will host a webinar that highlights three examples of VSOs and other veteran initiatives that are partnering with the community to better serve the behavioral health needs of veterans and their families: (1) The George W. Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative, (2) the Cohen Veterans Network, and (3) the Student Veterans of America. Participants will learn how they can work together with these organizations and others to strengthen their community’s network of support. Registration is required.

  • Registration for the DC VA Mental Health Summit 2017 Extended to Aug. 18th

    The Mental Health Summit will bring together key stakeholders and community partners with the goal of enhancing access to mental health services and addressing the mental healthcare needs of Veterans and their family members. This year’s theme will be “Justice Involved Veterans”. Registration is required.
