  • Identifying Depression Reconnection Workshop April 24th

    Presented by The American Red Cross on April 24th from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. Free. Registration is required.

  • Mental Health First Aid: Military and Veterans – May 1

    Serving Together, a program of EveryMind will be hosting an 8 hour Adult Mental Health First Aid training program with a focus on assisting military service members, veterans and their families on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm at American Red Cross Regional Headquarters (8550 Arlington Blvd. Fairfax, VA 22031). The workshop is FREE for military, veterans, their families and those who work or support them. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for attendees.   • New Property Tax Credit for Some Montgomery County Residents

    The new property tax credit provides a tax credit to people over 65 years of age who have lived and owned a dwelling for at least 40 consecutive years, or are retired from one of the U.S. Armed Forces.

  • Military Service: A Woman’s Perspective – April 5th

    This course will present first-hand information on the experiences of women who have served in the military from the Vietnam Era to the Global War on Terror. Registration is required.

  • Veterans Resource Fair April 4th – Ellicott City

    An event to provide local veterans the opportunity to meet with more than 35 businesses and non-profit organizations dedicated to providing services, support and jobs to veterans. ALL veterans (active, guard and reserve) are invited to attend. 9401 Frederick Road, Ellicott City 21042, 5-8pm.
