    as military-friendly schools and veteran service organizations. Especially for transitioning and former military and family members seeking employment. Free and open to all job seekers. Business attire recommended.   • Justice Involved Veterans Workshop – June 16

    Join ServingTogether for an informative event about Veterans Involved in Justice in Northern Virginia on Friday, June 16 from 9 am – 12 pm at the Fairfax County Circuit Court. Speakers and panelists will be discussing the current state of veterans involved in justice in Northern Virginia, highlighting the success in Veteran Treatment Dockets, and understanding services and gaps for veterans re-entering society.

    Save the Date! Veterans, family members and the community invited to the Frederick County Department of Aging’s Veteran Recognition & Resource Day event. Monday, July 10th from 9am-2pm at the Frederick Senior Center. Lunch provided. Registration required.

  • George C Marshall High School – Field of Honor – May 26-29

    On May 26-29th, George C. Marshall High School’s Class of 2019 will celebrate the Memorial Day holiday by creating a Field of Honor in front of the high school along Route 7.

    We invite you to support the Field of Honor and the class of 2019 by sponsoring a flag (s) to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military or to recognize the service of a veteran or an active duty service member.

    For each flag sold, GCM will make a donation to ServingTogether and can send an e-card to the family or the honoree to let them know they have been honored with a photo of the Field of Honor.
