Military & Veteran Caregiver Wellness Workshop – Sept 21

On Friday, Sept. 21st, Hope For The Warriors will be holding a Military and Veteran Caregiver’s Wellness Workshop in Lorton, VA from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run

The 9/11 Heroes Run activates and unites communities to honor the sacrifices of those heroes from September 11th and the wars since, to include veterans, active duty, first responder, and families of the fallen. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K +1M* fun run/walk welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and of all ages, volunteers, friends, and family. It is not about fitness level or experience but about activating, uniting, and honoring our heroes. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2pm in Annapolis, MD. Registration is required.

Military Spouse Hiring Event – Sept 20

Hiring Our Heroes will be holding a Ft. Belvoir Military Spouse Hiring Event Thursday, September 20 from 10 am - 1 pm at the Community Center on Fort Belvoir. This event is free and is open to all military, veteran, and Gold Star spouses, as well as employers and service organizations. Service members and veterans are also welcome.

Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) will be holding a live webinar about Suicide, Grief, and Trauma, Supporting Veterans and Families of the Fallen on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, from 12:00PM to 1:00PM EDT.  The webinar is free.  A continuing education certificate is available for $25.00.
