We recognize the challenges faced by veterans returning home with a disability. To help meet your wellness needs, the Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation has a unique program, Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies, FREE-of-charge to qualified veterans. Eligible veterans receive a free year of coaching and access to fitness facilities courtesy of Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation.

Horses Help Heroes and Great Escape Stables will be holding an affordable family fun event and fundraiser on Saturday, December 29, 2018, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 17620 Central Avenue in Bowie, MD. You and your family are invited to enjoy pony rides, arts and crafts, grooming, and treats for the horses. The gracious hosts are requesting a modest donation of $10/child of non-military or veteran families and $5/child of military and veteran families.

WeWork Veterans in Residence powered by Bunker Labs, in its second national tribe and third overall, is now in 15 cities across the U.S. Veterans and military family members should apply to their nearest participating city. Applications are now open until January 3, 2019. Their next national tribe will launch in March 2019.
