Tandem Skydive Jump for Combat Veterans

On Saturday, June 7th Heroes on the River is partnering with Skydive Shenandoah to bring a group of combat veterans to participate in a tandem jump. There will be a BBQ following the skydiving session. Open to combat veterans. Registration is required.

Thursday, May 31st from 7:00-9:00pm at the USO Warrior and Family Center in Bethesda, MD. This event is free and is open to all military, veteran, and Gold Star spouses, as well as employers and service organizations. Service members and veterans are also welcome. Build a Successful Civilian Career with C3

Military Corps Career Connect (C3) is a program designed to help transitioning Maryland service members and military spouses build a successful career. The program includes career planning and coaching, credentials and certifications and hands on experience through on-the-job training, paid work experience or fellowship.

Military Members: Join Blue Star Families for a Capitol Concert

Active Duty and National Guard/Reserve members can volunteer to be a part of the National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth, America’s National Independence Day Celebration. Volunteer service members will represent all men and women in the armed forces as special guests. Registering enters you for an opportunity to attend this year’s concerts.
