VA Women’s Health Transition Training

Tuesday, July 23rd at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Montgomery County. Join AMVETS and the VA for a women Veteran-led training covering topics such as Transformed VA Culture, Range of VA Women's Health & Mental Health Services, VA Health Care Eligibility and Enrollment and much more. This training is for active duty service women who plan to transition to civilian, Reserves, National Guard or veteran status in 2019 or 2020. It is also open to any female veteran who has not enrolled in VA medical care. Registration is required.

Free Disabilities Benefits Review for Veterans

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Easterseals will be hosting a Free Disabilities Benefits Claims Review for Veterans. Wednesday, July 24th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Mission Healthy Relationships

Virginia Veteran and Family Support is hosting a relationship enrichment workshop for committed couples who may be experiencing relational stressors to include Military Operational Stress, the effect of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Talk to an attorney for free who can help you with your issues including veteran benefits, military discharge upgrade matters, family law and more. Open to veterans and military families. The Steven A Cohen Clinic and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services are offering a free Opioid Overdose Response Training, Friday, June 28th from 11:30am - 1:00pm at The Steven A Cohen Clinic at Easterseals in Silver Spring, MD.
