The Fort Belvoir Collaborative will be holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, September 14 from 12 - 2 pm at the USO on Fort Belvoir. It will be a topic-driven discussion on Child Care Resources for Military Families on and around Fort Belvoir. We’ll have representatives from: Fort Belvoir Child & Youth Services, Fairfax County Office for Children, and Easter Seals Child Development Center. Join in on the discussion to learn about programs and services available for military families in the region, and have an opportunity to learn, ask questions, network and share. Blue Star Families will be hosting a Military Family Appreciation Day at the National Portrait Gallery as part of their Blue Star Museums program on Saturday, August 26 from 11 am - 1:30 pm. There will be live a bluegrass band, private tours with a curator, kids' activities and popcorn!
