Dog Tag Inc. Summer 2018 Fellowship Program is now open for applications. Do you know any entrepreneurially-minded service-disabled veteran, military spouse, and/or caregiver? Through an intensive five-month program, Dog Tag Inc. provides participants with a transformative opportunity: an education through Georgetown University and experiential learning in our small business venture, Dog Tag Bakery. Upon completion of the fellowship program, fellows are business ready, competitive, and employable.
Heroes on the Water 2018 Event Schedule
Heroes on the Water provides kayak fishing events to our Nation’s Warriors, First Responders and their families in an effort to calm “The Storm Within.” Kayak fishing provides both physical and mental therapeutic benefits, through exposure to the outdoors and being part of a community. American Legion 2018 Winter Conference & Career Event – Feb 23
Join Hiring Our Heroes at the American Legion 2018 Winter Conference & Career Event for free workshop sessions focused on resume building, networking, interviewing, and financial literacy, followed by a networking lunch that will feature a panel discussion on employment topics and best practices. Friday, February 23 from 9 am - 4 pm at the Washington Hilton in DC.

Open House for Warrior Retreat at Bull Run – Feb 4
Serve Our Willing Warriors will be holding an Open House for their Warrior Retreat at Bull Run on Sunday, February 4 from 1 - 3 pm.
DC National Cathedral Special Events – Feb 3
The DC National Cathedral will host some special events for veterans and military members on Saturday, February 3. Including a healing pilgrimage for veterans and military community members and a community conversation discussing the spiritual wellbeing for veterans and military families. Free and open to the public. Registration required.
LGBT Psychotherapy Support Group
Spaces open for an LGBT Psychotherapy Support Group to be held weekly at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Registration is required. Open to all LGBT and gender nonconforming Veterans.
Women Veterans On The Hill
Women's Veterans United Committee, Inc is holding a Women Veterans On The Hill event on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 1:00-3:00pm to discuss Women Health Care Issues, MST and Engagement with the Women Veterans Community.
