Telehealth provides mental health care to clients through the use of technology such as computer, tablet and/or phone. Project Horse Empowerment Center's Warrior Herd program will be holding a Gold Star Kids Summer Camp July 30-August 3. This camp is where kids develop coping skills through play with horses, expressive arts, games, crafts & team building! Thanks to a grant from VetsAid and a donation from Lockheed Martin – participation is 100% free! At Project Horse, kids connect in a very real way with others, with endless opportunities to build confidence, de-stress, and have a unique and memorable summer experience. Participants become centered in the natural world, they forge friendships with both horses and peers, learn horse handling and training skills, create and play games, practice teamwork and leadership, improve communication skills, and much more!
