Northern Virginia Community College has partnered with the NVTC Veteran Employment Initiative to provide a no-cost course teaching the Java programming language to a cohort of up to 20 Veterans and military/Veteran spouses.

A screening of the documentary film, Thank You For Your Service, hosted by Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 227, will be at the Angelika Film Center on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:30pm. Dealing with the mental health issues confronting many returning veterans, this is described as one of the best films of the year.
