VA Welcome Home Benefits Fair – July 28
Welcome Home, Veterans Benefits Fair will be held Saturday, July 28th from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Join a host of government and community partners who are coming together to offer assistance to Veterans and transitioning service members: Transition and Care Management, Mental Health, Voluntary Service, Vet Centers, VESO, VBA, the Mayor’s Office of Veteran’s Affairs, D.C. USO Metro – Project Next S.T.E.P.

Enjoy delicious BBQ and great company in a private dining room while meeting current and former service members throughout the area. August 14th @ 6:30pm. Martinsburg VA Mental Health Summit
This year's Martinsburg VA Medial Center Mental Health Summit will take place in Shepherdstown, WV on Tuesday, August 21 from 8:30am - 3:30pm. This is a free event and open to the public. RSVP required. There is also table space available to organizations who would like to display program information at the event.
VetsRide is Now Available in DC
The Mayor’s Office on Veterans Affairs ("MOVA") is launching a pilot transportation program for District of Columbia veterans with the Department of For-Hire Vehicles. Program eligibility is restricted to veteran residents of Washington DC with an annual income of less than $30,000. Documentation evidencing eligibility may be requested by MOVA. The purpose of this program is to ensure that this population has access to the medical, educational, employment and other opportunities that they require.
