Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs has compiled a list of Veterans Day Ceremonies throughout the state at the various memorials and cemeteries. Click on the image for more location information. Female Veterans Needed -$50

Female Veterans with children who deployed during OEF/OIF are needed for a focus group. Participants will be paid $50 for their time. If interested, contact Leigh Leslie at lleslie@umd.edu.

Veterans Writing Group – register

Sat., Oct. 10, 2015 The DC Veterans Writing Group (DCVWG) is a cost-free, monthly creative writing session for service members, veterans, and military family members of all writing backgrounds and skill levels. Group members complete writing prompts, receive feedback during meetings, and share their work with fellow members for comments and criticism.
