Veteran Peer Support Groups are facilitated by veterans and are designed to address the needs of Veterans, by providing a relaxed and confidential environment to share post military and transitional experiences with other veterans. In a peer-to-peer format, the groups strive to support one another in improving self-reliance and self-advocacy, and encouraging veterans in their pursuit of wellness.

In 2020, Project Horse will be offering 4 one-day trainings in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). Just like CPR and basic first aid, learning first aid for mental health is crucial! Whether we officially work with specific populations, or we support them informally, having a knowledge in basic mental health is so important.
